When does a home visit make sense?

Home visits are intended for patients for whom travelling to the clinic would be genuinely difficult.

That may include someone with limited mobility, a patient recovering from illness or surgery, or a resident of a retirement or long-term-care setting.

If you’re unsure whether a home appointment is appropriate, contact us. We can discuss what you need and whether it is best provided at home or in the clinic.

Personalized hearing care from home

  1. Step 1

    Initial phone consult

    We'll arrange for a phone consultation with our licensed audiologist to discuss your circumstances, concerns and listening goals to better understand how best to help.

  2. Step 2

    At-home hearing evaluation

    Our audiologist completes a hearing assessment using portable calibrated equipment appropriate for the home setting, followed by a thorough explanation of the findings and recommendations.

  3. Step 3

    Hearing aid selection & fitting

    Should hearing aids be recommended, we will partner with you to select the devices that best suit your lifestyle. Once selected, we'll order them and come back to complete Real Ear Measurement, confirming that the prescribed amplification is being delivered appropriately in your ears.

  4. Step 4

    Ongoing support

    We’ll follow up to ensure your devices are comfortable and working at their best using in-home or virtual appointments for adjustments and fine-tuning.
