Meet Joshua Baitz, Audiologist

Joshua Baitz, Audiologist

I became an audiologist because of my father. While my Dad was always able to engage in the conversation, I only fully appreciated how much he was missing when I saw how hearing aids gave him back the ability to meaningfully participate. That was the moment audiology became the field I wanted to understand deeply and practise well.

I received my Masters of Clinical Science in Audiology at Western University, graduating with the highest overall academic standing across the Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology classes.

Since graduating, I’ve practiced broadly across audiological fields, including diagnostic testing for ENT physicians, pediatric hearing care, and research. These experiences have taught me when more testing matters, when technology can help, and when the most important thing is simply taking the time to explain the findings properly.

I also teach at Humber College, where I help train the next generation of hearing healthcare providers, emphasizing careful, evidence-informed, patient-centred care.

Together, these experiences have reinforced a simple belief: patients deserve hearing care that is thorough, clearly explained, and built around their needs. I started Baitz Audiology to deliver that standard consistently. From the first assessment through years of follow-up care.

That is the whole idea.

I hope to see you in clinic.

Josh

Outside the clinic

When I'm not in the clinic, there's a good chance I'm reading a book, out for a run, or trying to find a really good sandwich. I have strong opinions about all three.

  3. Ariete E Toro

  4. Crudo
    About to open in Thornhill!!
  5. SumiLicious Smoked Meat & Deli
